First of all, Happy New Year everyone! I just got back from Cape Town - South Afrika. It was really AMAZING, I've seen so much. We went on safari, to the Aquilla park. We've went diving with sharks, visited a cheetah farm a crocodile farm and saw loads of monkeys! And ofcourse we did some relaxing too, at the beach and pool. The weather was like at least a thousand times better than in Holland, I already miss it!
I'll probably post some pictures of my South Africa adventure next week, so you can all enjoy my last week of 2011. Oh, and I'll promise there will come up some outfit posts too, and a big maintanance for my blog!

Yesterday was our last day in Copenhagen, and I was a little bit depressed about that. Because I'm so in love with this city and I did not want to leave yet! On the last the I bought a new wallet, from Comme Des Garçons in my favorite color, green! I saw this wallet on the first day in Copenhagen, and I could not get it out of my head. So the last day, after minuters/hours/days of doubt I finally bought my baby! And I love 'him?' so much. The rest of the day we stayed at the harbor and enjoyed the sun.

So today we went to Sweden, Malmö to be precisely. To be honest, it was a bit dissapointing. But I can't really judge, cause I think Copenhagen and Malmö are a huge difference. I guess you can maybe compair Stockholm with Copenhagen. So I hope to visit Stockholm next summer. I hadn't made that much pictures today, so here are some pictures from yesterday and from the hotel. Tomorrow is our last day in Copenhagen, and I don't want to leave this amazing city yet!

Today we visited some vintage shops in Copenhagen. Every minute being here I'm loving this this city more and more. After visiting some vintage shops we've lunched, and had the most delicious sandwiches ever! After the lunch we walked to the harbor to visite the famous mermaid, but to be honest I really don't have any idea, whats so special about it. Well, anyways tomorrow we're going to visite Malmö, it's a city in Sweden, so I'm a bit curious.

Today we arrived in Copenhagen, and so far I like it. It's an amazing city, the buildings are beautiful. It's all so modern and it's definitly one of the best city's I've ever been. Also the shops are really awesome. We went to COS, Weekday, Whyred, Acne, Hope. I'm so in love with all those scandinavian brands. But now I'm going to sleep, because I'm tired as hell. Tomorrow we're going to the centrum early, so I need to have a good night of sleep. There will be a new post online tomorrow, day 2, so stay tuned!

So the last week of my holiday will begin today, I think it will be one of the greatests. That's because of our little trip to Copenhagen. At the moment I'm kind of bored, eventhough I got enough to do. Like start packing, but I'm too lazy. The only thing I want to do is just lay around and listen to some music, like Selah Sue. My birthday was yesterday, finally! And I got some amazing presents from my family and friends. I asked Thelma if she could paint something for my birthday with some special message, and she definitely succeeded. I asked Bruno to surprise me, and he did. He bought me special editon Dr. Martens, there were only 1400 made of these babies! My parents gave me a new camera, a Canon 500D. So you can imagine I'm pretty happy with all of my presents. Oh, and my parents had an other surprise for me in hold. We planned to eat at this sushi restaurant I love, but when we arrived my parents invited my friends and family too! I had an amazing time, and it was definitely my best birthday ever!

Vlieland was amazing, and it was definitely a long time ago since I last visited the beach. That is because of the bad weather in Holland offcourse. But Vlieland is a really nice place to relaxe and do nothing. I definitely want to go back next summer. Another cool thing is I'm turning seventeen in just five days, finally! And I'm so super curious for my presents, hahaha. Oh, and I'm going to Copenhagen in two weeks, and I seriously can't wait any longer for that either.

//My first experience with fashion week, and despite the weather (it was raining all day) it was amazing! The first show I attended was INDIVIDUALS. INDIVIDUALS is a brand created by students from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute. I had high expectations of this show, because I saw some of the previous collections, and those were great. But the show was a little bit dissapointing. These was no clear line, it just looked a bit messy, too much different hairdo's and make-up. A think I did like from the collection was the print of the jacket/jumpsuit.

The reason why I love summer so much, is not only because of the hot weather, but also because of the beautiful flowers. Especially the hortesias you can see behind me, I love their colors. I'm dreaming of theses shoes for a couple of weeks now, cause they look pretty awesome. The combat shoe with the cutt out are from Balenciaga, I think I would wear them with a black jean, and some really flashing red socks, the red would be popping out of the shoes! On the second picture you can see the Ginchie shoes, I think I might make a DIY out of those, just put the studs on them myself. But I am not completely sure about that one though. And last but certainly not least, you see the leopard Dr.Martens. I saw something like this before on Carolines Mode, so I thought this would be a good and cheaper solution. Oh, and another thing, I haven't post a normal outfit in ages, so there will probably be outfit post tomorrow!

I'm back in Holland, and thank god it's here like 30 degrees as well. These pictures were made in St Tropez. I just love the colors of the houses in st tropez they're so bright. The boats in the harbor were amazing just like the shops. We went to St Tropez for a couple of hours, to eat some ice cream and see some shops. After that, we got back with the boat to St Maxime. I guess I'm the worst packer ever. I wanted to bring al of my stuff on vacation. Missing some of my favorite cloths really annoyes me. So every trip I take, I'm overloaded with clothes, and most of the things I don't even use! In a few hours my flight to Nice will depart, and I'm so excited. I'm going with Bruno and his family. Just finished with packing my hand lugadge, and brought the book 'de eetclub', which was a suggestion from my mother. So I'm actually a bit curious what's it about, oh and by the way, I have internet in Ste-Maxime so you should definitely stad tuned.

Yesterday Thelma, Bruno and I went to Amsterdam for some shopping. The weather wasn't on our side. Our umbrella's were the must of the day, haha. We went to a vintageshop, called Zipper. And the salesman, Sjoerd, was so super friendly! He gave us a map with a lot of vintage shop we just had to visit in Amsterdam. At the end of the day the weather got better, so we could make some pictures.

I almost forgot to tell you guys the big news I got! Two weeks ago I was shopping in Rotterdam, and suddenly I got scouted in Rotterdam by a modellingagency. I had to go to a casting in Amsterdam, and they were pretty excited, so there's going to be a testshoot in July. And if that's not enough, when I went to London, I was scouted too! But I can't go to the casting, because it's my little sisters birthday this weekend, darn! So I'm going to start modeling in Holland, and maybe in the future with a lot of dreaming, I'll be an international model!

This weekend, I went to London to shop. I haven't bought that much, just some jewelry, a sweater, a blazer, and a cardigan. First I'll post my necklace, the on I bought in London. The first one is a birdcage and on the inside there's alittle bird. I've seen this necklace before on the River Island online shop, but couldn't find it in the River Island shops in Rotterdam or Amsterdam. The necklace in the middle is from Topman. That one I've seen online before also. I've never ordered anything online, I just prefer to buy it in the stores. Oh, and the last necklace is from the River Island too, I've not seen this one online, but it was in the store anyways. It's some sort of trumpet, I like the color of it though.

Coming weekend I'm going to shoot some pictures with Bruno, so then I can show you the rest of my London-clothes. See ya!

Zara a/w 2010

I’ve been looking on the internet for some fall/winter clothes, and I found some outfits on the Zara site. I love the Oslo pattern on the top of the first and the second model. But what I definately don't like is the fake fur collar, from the first model. It’s make the whole jacket not only a little bit cheap, but it’s looks very ugly to!
I like the color of the pants from the second model, it isn’t a widely color but just perfect for this season. On the third model, i like the bag and the pants that he’s wearing.
Normally i hate sweatpants, and I though that you only used those pants for the gym. But it’s looks very good on him.

So thats enough about the zara collection, i need to tell you someting about upcomming weekend. Saturday I’m in Londen with Thelma, just for some shopping. I’m really excited, and I’ve saved up some money for that day.

I know it's a weak excuses, and that a lot of bloggers use it, but I'm sorry for not blogging for so long. I was very busy with trips, school and my work. I could not find the time to blog, but I do have made some awesome pictures to share with you. So there is enought blogmaterial.This week was our autumn vacation, and I went with Bruno and his family to Fance. We made a lot of pictures In St.Tropez, bit I haven't received them yet, so I can't post those pictures now. But I went to Slagharen too, that's an amusementpark. It's full with little horses, haha. Today Bruno and I made some new outfit pictures. Because the weather was so nice today. The sun was shining all day long! I'm wearing a demin blouse from the Episode, a necklace from IKKS, basic t-shirt from H&M, jeans from Replay and my shoes were a present from Bruno for my birthday. I hope you'll enjoy the pictures:

It's not that I really love Gaga so much, but I saw these pictures and I thought I needed to blog about it. It's a barbie in Gaga clothes and with Gaga hair, so you could say a Lady Gaga doll? The 29 years old Chinese designer Lu Wei had made those dresses, who Gaga wore on her shows, interviews, awards and music videos.

Actually, I’ve posted those pictures before on my blog. But the pictures were a little bit too small and it wasn’t such a great post. So I tought I'll post the pictures again, but now with the right size. If you didn’t know already, Thelma is one of my best friends, and I think she has an amazing style. She helps me a lot with my blog, she has great ideas and makes good suggestions. She's wearing a blazer from urban outfitters, a dress from primark, and her shoes are from a vintage store.

It's one of the most popular bags of the moment, the Hermes Birkin bag. The it-bag is not available for everyone, because the price of the bag can be between 30.000 and 100.000 euros. And you used to be on a waiting list to get a Hermes Birkin bag, so it could take years until you could buy the it-bag.
Especially under the celebs, like Victoria Beckham she's known for having more than 10 Birkins in every color. But I was more shocked about Lady Gaga and her Birkin bag. Everybody knows Lady Gaga is a little bit crazy, but what she did with her bag is insane. She wrote texts on her Hermes with a permanent marker, like it's some sort of scrapbook. She wrote on her bag: "I love my little monsters, tokyo love".
You can say, it is and will always be Lady Gaga we're talking about, and she needs something to be noticed. She can buy a new moment whenever she wants, because since only recently the waiting list disappeared, which is a bit of disappointment for me because I think the Birkin will lose his exclusivity over this. I guess the waiting list is no more because Hermes had some money troubles with the recession.

Today, was a sad day. Because the weather was so bad, it rained the whole day. So when it stopped raining, I quickly made some simple pictures in the garden. I'm not really in love with those pictures but I haven't been posting for a long time. I bought the sweater and the necklace in Barcelona, the sweater is from H&M trend, and the Necklace is from IKKS.

A few months ago, I made these pictures of my best friend Thelma. We found the big yellow bow in a partyclothing box, and we thought it’d make a good combination with the yellow dr. Martens. Thelma bought them one year ago, but she never wore them, because she thought she would look like an idiot in those boots. So, now we used the boots for this photoshoot, and I think it's a brilliant combination.

This time I’m going to write about a Dutch top model, because I found something interesting in an old Marie Claire issue. I found an article about the top 10 best paid Dutch models. I want to start of with Cato van Ee. She won a price called 'prix de la mode' its a Marie Claire award, she won it for being the best model. Clients won't tell her why they love her, but they do. Her agent told her, that she got a timeless beauty, she doesn’t have a face for a specific time. She thinks that models in this time got more pressure on their work, then when she started. Because every photo is photoshopped, so people expect more of models when they see them in real life. Cato says: ''In my day supermodels had just boobs and butt.'' The models of these days don’t have boobs or butt, they got low form and clothes will be literally hung on the models.

I need to make a confession, I think i got a Jewellery fetish. I really love some of those unique necklace, rings and bracelets. So bruno was browsing the internet for some cool jewellery and then he found a brand called Toy me. They have an awesome collection of the most random things you can imagine. When i saw those, I was in love with those necklaces. Toy me started a toyish jewellery collection in late 2006, and they've grown since then. Do want to order some of those lovely necklaces? I've done some research about the disease lady gaga has. It's known that she suffers from lupus. Lupus is a chronic inflammatory diseas (http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-an-inflammatory-disease.htm) marked by its effect on various parts of the body, including the joints, skin, blood, and kidneys. It is a condition in which the body's immune system attacks its own cells and tissues, resulting in pain, inflammation, and often damage to organs. it responds primarily to the female hormone. You can get lupus when your life is very stressful.
Lady Gaga's tourschedule is too much to handle for a normal person, it's just too stressful. Everybody needs a good amount of sleep, but when you get lupus, you're forced to take a lot of rest. But Gaga doesn't really care about her disease, she said; ''I'll take time to sleep when i'm dead''. In Times Magazine she also said; ''If you need to stop living you life the way you do, to stay healthy, you might as well die''. So she doesn't care about her disease, which is quite strange when you consider she lost her aunt because of lupus. I've got some pictures from her latest shoot with nick Knight for Vanity Fair.

So for my birthday I went to Barcelona, it was very nice. But the trip was so exhausting. I went with my mom, so nobody else. It was good for some quality time, haha. We've made a lot of pictures, and saw a lot of culture. Most of the time in Barcelona we shopped. I like Barcelona so much, because it's such a vibrant city. I really love the Ramblas, that’s a street full with street performers. Even the buildings contain so much culture, most of the buildings were designed by Antoni Gaudi. He was a Spanish architect he was born in 1852. He studied architecture in Barcelona. When he turned 20, he joined the freemasonry, a part of the illuminati. 10 years later he left the freemasonry because it was forbidden by the Catholic church to join the freemasonry. Gaudi's most famous work, is the Sagrada Familia. I will show you some picture's of Barcelona

First the french Vogue wouldn't publicate a cover with an black women on it, but Yves saint lauren threatened to withdraw all of his advertising from the publication, if they wouldn't put Naomi Campbell on the cover or any other black model.
Naomi is one of the 'Big six'. In the 90's there were 6 super models, Naomi campbell, Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista and Kate Moss. Naomi Campbell is seen by more than 500 magazines. Like Vogue Italy, Vanity fair, Elle magazine, ID magazine, LOVE Magazine, Glamour, W magazine,GQ and lot more.

Diamonds are a girls best friend, but not for Naomi Campbell.

Blood diamonds were a key commitment of the terrible wars in West Africa in the nineties. The Ex-president of Liberia denied that the blood diamonds would fund civil wars. Naomi Campbell met Taylor in 1997 at a dinner at Nelson Mandela's house. Taylor told Naomi how beautiful Liberia was. That night there were two men at the bedroomdoor of Naomi Campbell with a gift. Fake Design.

From now on, i'll be writing longer blogs. In this blog I'm going to write about fake designer stuff. Because there is so much fake designer stuff in the world.
I think it's pathetic if you buy a fake Burberry bag, when you can obviously see it's a fake one. The people who buy fake Louis Vuitton or Burberry bags, can't affort real ones. And when you see those people with a fake bag, it's always the same kind of people.

The difference between a real Burberry bag or a Louis Vuitton is noticeable in the details. For example, the real Louis Vuitton has on the golden stud a LV logo. A fake bag has nothing on the studs.
I've done some research in the world of fake designs, in Marie Claire was a whole articel about fake stuff. For example, Louis vouitton has 40 lawyers, 21000 lawsuits, 20 raids on a day.

Almost every big designer has to deal with this problem. A famous quote from Coco Chanel is: ''Fake designs are the ultimate compliment''. It's true, but sad and not good for the bussiness.
The most copied labels like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Burberry and Dolce & Gabanna have there own legal departments and there own detectives.

Most of the copied labels invest millions every year on detectives and lawsuits. But fake designs aren't only bad, because in China there are complete villages who live on fake detail.
So when there wasn't fake detail, there would be big economic issues in those villages. My opinion about fake designs is that the exclusivity from the brand is gone, when the whole world would buy the same but in fake.

How do you recognize fake stuff?
Most of the foreigners are making spelling mistakes in the names of the brands, so they can say: technically it isn't copied. They called labels like Prada, Prado or Burberrys instead of Burberry
When you?re not sure if your designer bag is real of fake, most of the time you can check it in the real brandstore, they can tell you if it's real or not.
